Machine Control For A Loader Used To Mean Tens Of Thousands
Dallas, TX – August 14, 2026 – Inteq Distributor’s Futtura iDig Line of Grade Control Solutions is proud to introduce its newest addition to its line-up: Futtura iDig Connect for CTL’s. Futtura Tools & Technology®, a premier brand of 2D and 3D Grade Control Technology Solutions, and is exclusively distributed in the US by INTEQ Distributors. The introduction of the iDig Connect for CTL’s creates an exciting new opportunity for dealers throughout the US.
Grade control on a skid steer or track loader has meant a GNSS package priced in the tens of thousands — which is why most loader owners never bought one, and why a grade checker still walks behind the machine on jobs that should not need it.
Skid steers and track loaders are a new category for Futtura iDig, and this is the system that opens it.
One System Multiple Machines Get more from one machine-control investment.
Futtura iDig’s wireless, solar-powered sensor technology gives contractors the flexibility to use the same machine-control system across compatible excavators and skid steers.
Move the system from machine to machine without permanently wiring it into just one piece of equipment.
Where It Goes On A Skid Steer
Three sensors, the tablet and the GNSS receiver. They sit on magnetic plates, charge from daylight and talk to the cab over Bluetooth 5 — nothing welded, no cable run through the machine. Budget three to four hours for a first install.
The GNSS receiver. This is the one that makes a skid steer work. In 2D an excavator reads a laser — and put a GPS rover on that excavator and it reads satellites too. A skid steer only ever reads satellites, so on this machine the GNSS receiver is your height and position reference and the system does not operate without it. Plenty of buyers already own a base station or GPS rover
The Work A Skid Steer Actually Does
Set the reference once — off a benchmark, a laser or a GPS elevation — and the bargraph works the cutting edge to target. These are the modes iDig lists for CONNECT, written for the jobs a skid steer gets put on.
